I love Sheffield!

I have just returned from a conference there: it is a fantastic city.

Sheffield is lively, interesting and set in beautiful countryside.

Indeed, I've visited for the same conference for the last four years now, and each time I've come away impressed. The view from the train up from London was georgous, the architechture striking ,the station and funtains are amazing, the people are friendly, and we had two solid days of semiconductor nanostructures: it made me remember why I care about what I'm doing.

I now have to bully the Boss into reading more of my thesis, so I can
hand it in, be viva'd and become a Productive Member of Society.
